And just like that, summer’s unofficial end has come! September may be the last hoorah for vacationers who call the Jersey Shore home for the summer, especially with all of the festivities surrounding Labor Day weekend. But don’t let the unofficial end of the summer get you down because there’s a lot of life after the summer around the area!

Monmouth Beach Fireman’s Fair

Asbury Park Oysterfest 2019

When: Sep 6 – 8, 2019
Where: 101 5th Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712

Description: The annual Asbury Park Oysterfest, proudly presented by Love Asbury Park (Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce), will be running from September 6-8, featuring food, fun, and lots of oysters! And oh yeah, it’s dog friendly too!


Red Bank Street Fair & Craft Show

Description: The fall edition of the Red Bank street fair & craft show makes its return on Sunday, September 8th, featuring fun activities for the kids, craft vendors, food, and much more!


Food Trucktemberfest

Where: Monmouth Park, 175 Oceanport Ave, Oceanport, NJ

Description: September signals the end of summer, but for Monmouth Park, they’re planning to keep things going with its latest food truck festival, Food Trucktemberfest, which is slated for Saturday, September 14th!


Belmar San Gennaro Festival

Description: If you love Italian food, then check out Belmar’s San Gennaro Festival, which is being held September 14-15 and featuring food, live music, dancing, vendors, and more!


Red Bank Food & Wine Walk

When: Sun, September 15, 2pm – 5pm
Where: Red Bank, NJ

Description: Red Bank’s annual Food & Wine Walk is returning starting this summer and runs all the way through fall with four dates to experience it. Happening on the third Sunday of each month, it’s an opportunity to sample what Red Bank’s restaurants and eateries have to offer. Those dates are July 21, August 18, September 15, and October 20


Sea Hear Now Festival

When: Sep 21 – 22, 2019
Wherw: 1200 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ

Description: The dates for this year’s Sea Hear Now Festival in Asbury Park are set for September 21st & 22nd, featuring the Dave Matthews Band and The Lumineers as the headliners for this music, art, and surf festival.


Fall Apple Festival

18th Annual Twin Lights Ride

Where: Highlands, NJ

Description: Cyclist looking for a challenge will want to tackle the 18th annual Twin Lights Ride on Sunday, September 22nd, where they’ll have the choice of biking courses ranging from 15 to 100 miles along the Jersey Shore.


10th Annual Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival

When: Sun, September 29, 12pm – 7pm
Where: White Street Parking Lot, Red Bank, NJ

Description: The 10th annual Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival is set for Sunday, September 29th, featuring live music from several local bands, food from 20 of Red Bank’s restaurants and eateries, and other fun activities for everyone to enjoy. And oh yeah, there will be plenty of Guinness and oysters as well!
