Next Rally for the Navesink meeting to discuss water quality sampling program

The ongoing cause to reduce pollution in the Navesink River has been mainly spearheaded by the non-profit group Clean Ocean Action, leading to such efforts like the Rally for the Navesink.

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 27th, at the Bingham Hall in Rumson, NJ. Discussions will be conducted at the meeting to introduce details about a citizen led water quality sampling program for the Navesink watershed. Essentially, citizens could help the efforts of monitoring pollution in the Navesink River by performing these samplings.

The group will be looking for volunteers that can be proactive about helping out. So far, there are roughly 20 sites within the Navesink watershed, covering towns like Tinton Falls, Fair Haven, Red Bank, and Middletown.

If you’re interested in helping out, you definitely want to come out for this latest meeting for the Rally for the Navesink. It’ll start promptly at 6:30 PM.
