July 4th fireworks shows around Red Bank

Our first year living in Red Bank, we quickly found out that the town didn’t offer any sort of July 4th fireworks show of any kind, leaving us to quickly look elsewhere. Given Red Bank’s reputation and healthy growth, you’d think that a grand spectacle would be made for July 4th – that’s not the case, though. Apparently, the last 4th of July fireworks show happened back in 2012, and due to its extravagant budget cost, it was subsequently cancelled afterwards.

Don’t let that piece of fact deter you, however, seeing that there are still a couple of fireworks shows to partake in-and-around the greater Red Bank area. Many shows are listed below, so please be sure to plan accordingly. And as always, be vigilant and safe during this upcoming holiday weekend!

  • Freehold Raceway Fireworks – Sunday, July 3rd. Live music, vendors, and fireworks starting at dusk. Rain date will be July 10th.
  • Long Branch Fireworks – Monday, July 4th. Held at the Oceanfront Promenade with vendors, bands, exhibits, and food. It’ll be held rain or shine.
  • Ocean Township Fireworks – July 3rd. Gates open 6:00 p.m. for food and music. Held at Joe Palaia Park.
  • Asbury Park Fireworks – July 4th at dusk. Beach front in Asbury Park.
