While the summer slowly nears its end, there are still plenty of events to check out! Take for instance the Comfort Food Festival that’ll be held on Saturday, September 18, featuring food trucks, live entertainment, refreshments and much more in Toms River!
Join The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District for our Comfort Food Festival. We have transitioned our traditional Chili Cook-Off into a festival highlighting all of our favorite comfort foods.
This year we will be foregoing the public tasting/contest portion of the event and will fill the streets with food trucks serving your favorite foods. Think BBQ, Mac and Cheese, Pizza, and yes we will still have Chili!
In addition to all the great food, the street will be filled with vendors, kids rides, live entertainment and a beer & wine garden provided by Toms River Volunteer Fire Co. #1.

The Comfort Food Festival is a FREE event that’ll be held from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the area around 33 Washington Street in Toms River, NJ.
