Locals in Red Bank are pretty familiar with the old Atlantic Glass building at the corner of White Street And Maple Avenue. For a good while there, it’s been sort of an eyesore because it was left in disarray. However, that all changes as the location is now home to Alpha Fit Club!
Seriously, it’s a transformation that’s been long in the making. The building was remodeled and now exhibits a more inviting exterior with modern stylings on the inside fitting for a contemporary fitness center. We stopped by the location where we met with its General Manager and Operating Partner, Megan McAleer, who hails from Lincroft.

“My family and I live locally in Lincroft and being able to bring this concept to a place I call home has been a dream. I love connecting with people, especially through fitness,” said McAleer. For the location, it’s a refreshing change of scenery we can agree that’s certainly a 180-degrees from what it was previously.
Obviously, Red Bank’s already home to nearly a handful of gyms, fitness centers, and various studios that cover the gamut. With Alpha Fit Club, it follows the circuit style training strategy with its classes — blending strength training and cardio for a workout that delivers results. The space inside is actually even more inviting to the building’s exterior transformation, which you’ll find the moment you enter the premises. Featuring high ceilings, spaced out workout equipment, and even garage door like entryways, the space offers members plenty of activities for their workouts.

While the location’s inviting demeanor and meticulous workout equipment will no doubt attract prospective members, but it’s the people behind the scenes that continues to showcase Red Bank’s identity of being a friendly and accepting town. McAleer’s enthusiasm for the gym’s opening is a perfect example of this. “In just over 2 weeks, I have met so many amazing people that already feel like friends and family,” explained McAleer.
Alpha Fit Club is located on 23 Maple Avenue in Red Bank, NJ, and has its own set of parking lot spaces.
