Matawan Creek Kayak Tour will have you paddling throug scenic areas

Summer’s almost here and there’s so much to do outdoors. One of the exciting events you should check out is the Matawan Creek Kayak Tour, which is being held on Sunday, July 11. This tour is organized by the folks from NY/NJ Baykeeper and will have you kayaking through the Matawan Creek. Not only is there the chance to see wildlife during the tour, but also the spot where the movie Jaws took inspiration from.

Grab a kayak and get out on the water! Our Matawan Creek Kayak Tours take you to the legendary site of the infamous Jersey Shore shark attacks of 1916! Take in the area’s natural and dramatic beauty and catch a close-up glimpse of a cool variety of wildlife. Join us for this unforgettable and wild ride!


Tickets for the Matawan Creek Kayak Tour start at $25 per person if you bring your own kayak, or $35 if you need to rent one. It’ll be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and will commence at Browns Point Marina on 357 W. Front Street in Keyport, NJ.
