Just last week there was news about July 4th fireworks coming back to Long Branch this year, but now there’s confirmation that the same thing can be expected for Bradley Beach. The Borough of Bradley Beach is proud to announce that the fireworks celebration for its upcoming Red, White, and Blues Festival will be held on Saturday, July 3!
BEYOND excited to announce that this years fireworks show is ON! Rounding out a day full of music during the Red, White and Blues Festival on July 3rd will be fireworks at dusk…. Happy Friday!
Needless to say, this is all fantastic news given how fireworks were put on the backburner last year due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. The fireworks are slated to commence at dusk, but we’ll update this post with any additional news.
**UPDATE 6/30/2021**
It looks like the fireworks show has been postponed due to safety concerns.
The Borough of Bradley Beach will be postponing the 4th of July Fireworks scheduled for this Saturday, July 3rd. Our Public Safety team has just concluded a meeting with other law enforcement officials and we have made the decision that this postponement is in the best interest of our residents and seasonal visitors. We realize this is a big disappointment but we hope to announce the future date shortly.
We will continue to monitor intelligence reports in terms of crowd control and ensure decisions are in the best safety interests of our residents.
