Red Bank Classic 5K race is postponed until 2021

After rescheduling the date for its 5K race to October 10, 2020, it looks like the Red Bank Classic has been officially postponed until next year — June 19, 2021. For those that have already registered for the race, it’ll be honored for next year’s race.

Dear Race Community,⁣

We had hoped to have something to rally for in October, but given the uncertainty of the ongoing pandemic situation, we have decided the best thing for our runners, volunteers and the community of Red Bank is to reschedule the event for 2021. Our team cares deeply about this event and the running community as a whole and we pledge to bring you the best possible event in 2021.⁣

We are all in this together and we share your disappointment. All registrants and sponsorships will be automatically transferred to the new June 19th 2021 race date. SAVE THE DATE!⁣ 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Thank you for your support. We look forward to running as a community in brighter days ahead. 🙌

Like many other big events planned for this summer, the Red Bank Classic had to deal with the challenges of hosting a race with the pandemic raging on. Despite the cancellation for this year, we’re hoping for a strong return next year — so stay tuned!
