26th Annual Highlands Farmers Market to run June to November

The 26th annual Highlands Farmers Market is a go. A press release from the Highlands Business Partnership detailed this year’s annual event, which will be held at Huddy Park on Saturday mornings from June to 20 through November — with special protocols in place to follow state and local guidelines.


HIGHLANDS, MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – The Highlands Business Partnership’s traditional 26th Annual
Farmers’ Market begins every Saturday morning from June 20 through November 7, 2020, at 8:30 AM in
Huddy Park at Bay and Waterwitch Avenues.

“We appreciate your cooperation as the Highlands Farmers Market adapts its operations to provide a safe shopping experience for all”, said Mayor Carolyn Broullon. “As we continue to adapt, our goal is to provide a place for local farmers to sell their healthy, nutritious and farm-fresh products and to provide the public access to a safe and secure supply of local food” she added.

“Customers will be able to shop with our farmers individually, while we all adhere to additional health and safety protocols”, said Jay Cosgrove, President of the Highlands Business Partnership. “We are in close communications with our local town and health officials and are utilizing an Operations Plan with protocols to ensure that Highlands Farmers Market is meeting all State and local guidelines”, he added.

Fresh picked juicy, ripe, Jersey fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers and baked goods will be available from 8:30 AM to 2PM. Hauser Hill Farms of Oldbridge, NJ and Fresh Pik Farms of East Windsor, NJ will be participating for the 26th year at the Partnership’s annual Farmers’ Market. The market will also feature specialty items such as homemade pies, meat breads, ravioli, cheese, eggs, honey, handmade soaps and skin care products from Mother Nature’s Beauty and the latest fashions from Penelope’s Traveling Boutique.
