10th annual Jersey Shore Wine & Food Truck Festival delayed until the fall

The 10th annual Jersey Shore Wine & Food Truck Festival at FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaw, was originally planned for Saturday, April 25. However, due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, it’s been delayed until the fall — October 3 to be exact!

FirstEnergy Park, Home of the Lakewood BlueClaws will be hosting the Jersey Shore Wine Festival on October 3rd from 12 – 5 pm inside the ballpark (rain date: 10/4/20). The centerpiece of the festival will be wine tasting by New Jersey wineries from around the state; the event will also feature live musical entertainment, food and crafters to enjoy!

A portion of the proceeds of this event will benefit Sylvia’s Children, a 501(c)3 dedicated to supporting children in Uganda.

This date reflects the new date after the event has been postponed due to covid-19 concerns. PLEASE NOTE; All tickets will be honored on 10/3/20 even though they presently read April 25, 20.

For the first time, this year’s festival will move INSIDE FirstEnergy Park, utilizing the ballpark as the backdrop for a fun Saturday afternoon with family and friends.

The Jersey Shore Wine Festival is an exciting event that features samplings from a variety of award-winning wineries from throughout the Garden State. Current wineries include Chestnut Run Farm, DiMatteo’s Vineyards, Plagido’s Winery, Villari Vineyards,
Wagonhouse Winery, White Horse Winery and Valenzano Winery.

Festival goers will enjoy various local crafters, many merchandise vendors, select gourmet foods, several food trucks, and a live musical performance from Jersey Shore’s finest American
country group, After The Reign. Don’t like wine, but still want to come? Beer will also be available for purchase inside the ballpark. Each attendee will also receive a souvenir Jersey Shore Wine Festival glass. No outside food or beverage will be allowed.

Tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 if you purchase on the event day. Designated driver tickets and Festival Goers are $5 and include festival admission.

Vendors interested in joining us on October 3rd can apply by completing forms found on JerseyShoreWineFestival.com.
The event has a rain date of Sunday, October 4th.

Net proceeds will be donated to Sylvia’s Children, a Holmdel-based 501(c)3 organization working over the past two decades to improve the living conditions for more than 1,000 children in Uganda, 25% of whom are orphans.

Tickets for the 10th annual Jersey Shore Wine & Food Truck Festival are available for purchase through the link below at $20 in advance — or $25 on the day of the event. It’ll be held from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at FirstEnergy Park on 2 Stadium Way in Lakewood, NJ. If for some reason there’s inclement weather, the rain date is scheduled for the following day on October 4.
