4th annual community mural project adds another colorful mural to downtown Red Bank

The 4th annual community mural project has just begun work over by 21 W Front Street in Red Bank, the building wall in between the alleyway next to JJ Delicacies.

With the help of locals and volunteers, this year’s mural comes to us courtesy of Indie Street Film Festival’s Artistic Director, Jay Webb, whose vision for the mural is “designed by nature.” Webb explains, “we’re using only sine waves in all of the line work, just as a tribute to sound, light, gravitational pull, and to all the things in nature that travel in sine wave form, so it’s a real interconnection between science and art.”

The foundation of the mural started on Saturday, July 13th, but will continue to be worked on until its completion sometime during the Indie Street Film Festival, which runs July 24-28. You can swing by and check out the mural to see its progression!
