The Whitechapel Projects over in Long Branch is one of the latest breweries to open its doors in the Jersey Shore area. However, it’s more than just a brewery, as the location features sprawling indoor and outdoor areas fit for just about any occasion.
One part brewery that offers a variety of nano-brews on tap, part eatery that offers delicious bites that pair nicely with its drinks, The Whitechapel Project aims to be a major socializing location because of its beer garden atmosphere!
For our visit, we tried out the following menu items below.
- Irish Coffee Stout (ABV 4.1%) – Strong coffee flavor. Notes of chocolate and dark roasted malts.
- Red Ale (ABV 6.6%)
- Belgian Golden Strong (ABV 10%)
- Langos ($8) – Hungarian fried potato bread, Texas smoke paprika, Maldon sea salt, garlic, Gruyere cheese served with sour cream.
- Deep Fried Confit Chicken Thigh ($13) – w/ sweet chili sauce and a salad of cucumber, carrot, red cabbage, arugula, cilantro, Thai basil, and mint. Dressed with nuoc cham.
