Clean Ocean Action to show a screening of “Shore Stories” about the impact of offshore drilling at The Downtown on March 8

Local environmental leaders invite you to watch a screening of the film, “Shore Stories,” over at The Downtown on Thursday, March 8th. This screening event is being hosted by Clean Ocean Action and the NY/NJ Baykeeper, which will expose the impact of offshore drilling.

Join Clean Ocean Action and NY/NJ Baykeeper for a screening of Shore Stories, a compilation of six short films curated by Working Films and allied organizations, portraying the impact of offshore drilling and seismic testing. Purchase of tickets to the event will give attendees access to a variety of passed hors d’oeuvres, viewing of the film and a brief discussion with local environmental leaders. A reduced dinner menu and full bar will be available but are not included with the event ticket. Doors open at 6:30 PM, the film starts at 7:00 PM and the discussion period will follow immediately after the film.

It’s a FREE event, which will also include hors d’oeuvres and a discussion panel. You’ll want to reserve your tickets ahead of time just in case. And lastly, it’ll be running from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM over at The Downtown’s location on 10 W Front Street.
