Our coverage of the Guinness Oyster Festival 2017

And so ends yet another Guinness Oyster Festival! This year’s event will probably be remembered by the higher-than-expected temperatures, which is a good thing to draw in people, but rather unusual for a fall affair.

The warm temperature was probably the hightlight of the event.

Despite that, the 2017 Guinness Oyster Festival featured the usual staple of goodies seen in years past – like live music, food, and craft vendors. Of course, this wouldn’t be a Guinness Oyster Festival without Guinness and oysters in great supply! And boy were there a ton of food vendors offering oysters of all varieties. From Red Bank’s own The Chowda House, to  the Lusty Lobster, and even Patrizia’s, there were plenty of oysters to feast on.

Plenty of oysters to go around!

And if that wasn’t enough for you, there were all kinds of dishes and lite bites to try out. We sampled on things like The Bistro’s Lobster Grilled Cheese, Temple Gourmet Chinese’s Roasted BBQ Pork, and The Boondock Fishery’s jumbo shrimp.

While it’s done and over with, there are still plenty of things to be excited about when it comes to fun events in Red Bank this fall. If you missed out on the festival, then check out our video above and photos below, to get the entire rundown.
