The Red Bank Public Library will be celebrating its 80th anniversary with a slew of events throughout Saturday, May 20th.
Can you believe it’s hit the 80-year mark? That’s an amazing accomplishment, given how it has seen the town go through several transformations throughout the years. In celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Eisner Memorial Library, there will be walking tours conducted at the library at 10:00 AM on May 20th, as well as later on in the afternoon as well at 2:00 PM.
Furthermore, a “Library Birthday Party” at 11:00 AM will include cake, games, and crafts for the kids, which at the same time, winners of its Annual Bookmark Contest will be announced. And lastly, the official reopening of the Local History Room marked by a ribbon cutting, will be held at 12:00 PM.
All patrons, friends, and supporters of the library are invited to come, but if you intend on participating in the reopening of the Local History Room, you’ll need to send your RSVP by emailing rbpl80th@gmail.com.
