Red Bank Snow Day (February 9, 2017)

February 9, 2017 will go down for being the first time this season that the town saw significant snowfall on the ground. Starting in the early twilight hours, and proceeding well into the afternoon, Red Bank was hit with enough snow for the first time to stay on the ground for a second day.

Well, given that snow was all around, we thought it’d be a great time to document the occasion. So you know what? We decided to take a trip into town to see what the place looked like. And we’ll tell you that we’ve never seen the downtown area so empty before.

Even though some of the main roads were cleared away by the plows, there were still pockets of side streets that had a thin sheet of ice on them. We saw some of the workers trying to clear out the snow from the sidewalks, but the frigid temperatures combined with the windy gusts made it difficult.

So, what did you do on your snow day?
