Jimmy John’s of Red Bank & Kick Cancer Overboard helps to send local family on a cruise

Local sub shop Jimmy John’s of Red Bank, along with the organization Kick Cancer Overboard, held a special event on Thursday night, February 16th, to raise proceeds for a special cause.

We were there to check out all of the fun, of course, which featured live painting by David Banegas, whose work of art helped to raise awareness and funds for the organization Kick Cancer Overboard. Speaking of that organization, their mission is to send families affected by cancer on free cruises. And of course, there was live music as well!

The highlight of the event came later on in the evening, when Jimmy John’s store owner Alex Levine and Kick Cancer Overboard founder Ted Friedli introduced the local family that was chosen for the free cruise.

You don’t want to miss what happened after the introductions, so you’ll want to see for yourself what happened in our video above.
