Even though we’re gearing up for winter’s arrival, Highlands continues to be a buzzing spot in Monmouth County, with its next event being the annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, December 3 — with free horse & buggy rides and hot chocolate courtesy of the Highlands Recreation Department and Highlands Business Partnership.
Visit Santa & Mrs. Claus! Entertainment by the Henry Hudson A Cappella Choir, Highlands Girl Scouts, Highlands Cub Scouts and Holiday Dancers from the Carol Elaine Dance Studio and Holiday music. There will be free Hot Chocolate and Goodies, courtesy of the Highlands Recreation Department, and free Horse & Buggy Rides, courtesy of the Highlands Business Partnership. Mayor Broullon and Council members will light the tree at 6PM. Rain date Saturday, December 4th.
