Dogs came out in packs to enjoy long-awaited return of Red Bank Dog Days

After two years since the last one was held in town, Red Bank Dog Days made its long-awaited return. And boy did it happen to occur on what was arguably the perfect day thanks to the weather.

Pooches of all kinds came out in force for the event, which was held in Marine Park with an after party at Red Rock Tap + Grill. Organized by the Red Bank Animal Welfare Committee and the Red Bank Department of Parks and Recreation, Red Bank Dog Days featured just about everything you want in an outdoor dog event.

From pet vendors giving out free samples, to local animal shelters helping to find some pups their furever homes, and even live music from The Wag, Red Bank Dog Days had plenty going on for it. There was even a special demonstration by the local Red Bank Police Department K9-unit, featuring officer Ptl. Stanley Balmer and his Belgain Malinois partner Hunter, who actually participated on the TV show America’s Top Dog Competitor.
