The theater community has been and continues to be the most impacted industry during the pandemic, with many local and popular theaters closed due to restrictions — including those on Broadway. The Prep, however, is looking to sprinkle a bit of cheer with their upcoming Home for the Holidays event that’s being held on two dates. It’s a virtual fundraising event that’ll feature performances by their talented students to help raise funds for The Actors Fund on December 19-20.
The Prep presents Home for the Holidays: A 2-Day Virtual Event to Benefit The Actors Fund! Airs LIVE! on The Prep’s YouTube on Saturday 12.19 and Sunday 12.20, 7pm EST. So far we have raised almost $4k for The Actors Fund this year through our Virtual Fundraising efforts. Let’s keep going and support our community! Featuring performances of all genres by our talented students from Broadway, Tours, Film & Television and more! Prep students, email firstname.lastname@example.org for details on signing up — deadline is this Tuesday; videos must be received by Thursday! #ThePrep#TheActorsFund
As Broadway, TV and film productions, and performing arts venues across the country remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those in the entertainment community need our help now more than ever.
Every day, the need for The Actors Funds services grows, and your gift today will ensure that The Fund can continue to help those who need us through these difficult times.
Your support will help ensure that people who work in the spotlight and behind the scenes can pay their rent or mortgage, feed their families, find work and afford health insurance. You can help The Actors Fund continue to be the lifeline they need.
Thank you for giving generously to help our entertainment and performing arts community. Visit ActorsFund.org/donate to donate today.
You can make donations through the link above, but be sure to check out The Prep’s YouTube page for the premiere of their Home for the Holidays event on December 19 & 20 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
