Six Flags Great Adventure will be moving forward with their annual Holiday in the Park extravaganza, which is slated to run from November 14 to January 3, featuring dazzling lights, entertainment, seasonal treats, and much more that’ll transform the thrill ride park into a winter wonderland.
This winter, the Santa tracker leads right to Six Flags Great Adventure as this all-new holiday extravaganza — Holiday in the Park — returns at the world’s ultimate thrill park on November 14 and runs weekends and select days through January 3, 2021. Millions of glittering lights, dazzling holiday entertainment, delicious seasonal treats, Santa’s village and many popular rides magically transform the summer thrill destination into a winter wonderland.
Holiday in the Park provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of the shopping rush, and a way for you to create your own magical, memorable holiday moments. A visual feast awaits just inside the gates with themed areas that have undergone a massive makeover that showcases the world’s best holiday traditions. Each area is an emotional journey, and brings the warmth of the season in an entirely new way.
Stunning light shows, illuminated, towering trees, the iconic smell of fresh pine and crisp peppermint filling the air and festive street vendors offer sweet and savory treats providing a multi-sensory journey of winter delights. Kids can join Santa in his workshop for a fun photo opportunity. Regardless of the weather forecast, a touch of magic ensures that snowflakes fall gently every evening.
Holiday in the Park also features nearly 30 thrilling rides such as SkyScreamer, Carousel, Big Wheel and Tea Cups. Children can enjoy pint-sized thrills in the Adventure Seaport and Bugs Bunny National Park areas. Coaster fans can challenge world-class rides like Nitro, BATMAN™ The Ride, THE GREEN LANTERN and SUPERMAN: Ultimate Flight, WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth, THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster and Skull Mountain, weather permitting.
From festive holiday foods like cookies and rich hot chocolate to the perfect gifts for everyone on your list — we have it all. Grab a snack in between rides. Do some shopping between shows. We have what you need! The elves have taken over the kitchen and are creating some delicious seasonal favorites, only available during Holiday in the Park.
