Halloween may still be a week away, but between now and then, there are plenty of Halloween related events happening in-and-around the greater Jersey Shore and Monmouth County areas. From town parades, to special nighttime parties, and even some unique things, there are a wide range of events great for everyone! The challenges of the pandemic are still here, but these events are adapting as well.
We’ve curated all of the Halloween related events below that are happening between now and Halloween throughout the Jersey Shore area. Click on the titles to find out more about them, but make sure to check back soon because we’ll be constantly updating our listing as more events become official.
The Haunting @ The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel
When: Fri, October 23, 12pm – 6p
Where: Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, 1401 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ
Description: Can you survive going through The Haunting @ The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel? It’s a test for sure, but you’ll need some serious guts and courage to make it through the hotel’s 13 haunted rooms when it’s held on various dates from October 23 to November 1.

Fall Festival + Pumpkin Patch
When: Fri, October 23, 10am – 5pm
Where: Happy Day Farm, 106 Iron Ore Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ
Description: Fall’s just around the corner and if you’re looking out for some pumpkins to help decorate for the fall, then you’ll want to register soon for the Fall Festival + Pumpkin Patch over at Happy Day Farm, running Saturday and Sundays from September 12 to October 25 — with Friday dates in October only!

HALLOWFEST
When: September 18 to November 1
Where: Six Flags Great Adventure, 1 Six Flags Blvd, Jackson Township, NJ
Description: Six Flags Great Adventure is gearing up for the scariest part of the year, Halloween! They’re introducing something totally new this year with HALLOWFEST, their replacement to FrightFest, which will be happening weekends from September 18 to November 1.

Red Bank ghost tour
When: various dates, 8:30pm – 9:30pm
Where: Red Bank, NJ
Description: Due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Jersey Shore Ghost Tours transformed their usual ghost tours in Red Bank and Keyport into virtual events. However, it looks as though they’ll be offerings in-person tours again with Keyport tours kicking off on October 17 — while Red Bank tours will begin on October 23.

1830s All Hallow’s Eve Celebration
When: Sat, October 24, 11am – 4pm
Where: 4263 Atlantic Ave, Wall Township, NJ
Description: The Historic Village at Allaire is gearing up for Halloween with their upcoming 1830s All Hallow’s Eve Celebration on Saturday, October 24, featuring fun Halloween related activities, a pumpkin contest, and much more!

Allaire Scare Pumpkin Dare
When: Sat, October 24, 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Where: Allaire State Park, 4265 Atlantic Ave, Wall Township, NJ
Description: It’s going to be a battle between the creative minds with the Allaire Scare Pumpkin Dare, slated for Saturday, October 24, featuring a pre-carved pumpkin contest over at The Historic Village at Allaire!

Trick ‘r Treat Trail
When: Sat, October 24, 4pm – 6pm
Where: Middletown Sports Complex, 214 Harmony Rd, Middletown Township, NJ
Description: If you’re looking for a fun and exciting Halloween event for the kids, then check out the Trick ‘r Treat Trail event that Middletown Sports Complex is hosting on Saturday, October 24.

Keyport ghost tour
When: Sat, October 24, 8:30pm – 9:30pm
Where: Keyport, NJ

Halloween Fiesta

Where: Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Rd, Holmdel, NJ
Description: Bell Works has you covered for Halloween as well, as the metroburb is expected to host its Halloween Fiesta event on Thursday, October 29.

The Bradley Boo & Halloween Parade
When: Fri, October 30, 3pm – 8pm
Where: Riley Park, 615 Main St, Bradley Beach, NJ
Description: The countdown for Halloween has already begun! One of the events that you should be aware about is The Bradley Boo & Halloween Parade, which is slated for Friday, October 30, and proudly presented by Bradley Beach Tourism! Proper social distancing guidelines will be adhered for it.

Halloween at Allaire
When: Sat, October 31, 11am – 4pm
Where: 4263 Atlantic Ave, Wall Township, NJ
Description: Can you believe it’s October already? If you’re looking for some Halloween related fun, then check out Halloween at Allaire, which will be held on Saturday, October 31, featuring a costume parade, scavenger hunt, and much more.

Highlands annual Howl-O-Ween
When: Sat, October 31, 12:00pm – 4:30pm
Where: The Seafarer, 1 Atlantic St, Highlands, NJ
Description: Get those pet costumes ready because the annual Howl-O-Ween event in Highlands will be held on Saturday, October 31, courtesy of the Highlands Business Partnership!

Ocean Grove Chamber of Commerce’s Halloween Event
When: Sat, October 31, 12pm – 3pm
Where: Pilgrim Pathway & Main Avenue, Pilgrim Pathway & Main Ave, Neptune Township, NJ
Description: We’re getting ever closer to Halloween, with many places hosting various event for it. Ocean Grove will be one of them, as the shore town will be hosting a special event where children and pets can show off their best costumes with picture opportunities, treats, and much more courtesy of the Ocean Grove Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, October 31.

Haunted Halloween cookie decorating spooktacular and costume extravaganza

Where: The Whitechapel Projects, 15 2nd Ave, Long Branch, NJ
