Ross Brewing finds its new home in Middletown, anticipates 2021 opening

Ross Brewing is coming to Middletown in 2021! That’s the special announcement that the craft brewery announced on its social media accounts recently, which comes after trying to open up a brewery in the heart of Red Bank over the course of the last few years.

Ladies and gentlemen—we’ve had a secret. And we’ve been real good about keeping it under wraps.

For the last year, we’ve been working around the clock to secure the future home of Ross Brewing. We had what we thought was the perfect home. But fate conspired to make it impossible to open there. So we cast a wider net, so to speak. And after an extensive search, we found our home for decades to come. Just north of Red Bank, in Middletown, NJ, in the Port Monmouth section on the shores of Compton Creek. With 4500 square feet of production space, and 3800 square feet of tasting room space, and a 100 foot dock so you can bring your boat right up to the entrance of our tasting room, we know we’ve found the absolute perfect location! And now it’s ours, 100%!

Construction started TODAY for an early 2021 opening and that’s not all. We are also ecstatic to announce that after a successful trial run in New York, our beers will be available locally here in NJ starting October 1st!!! Stay tuned as we announce exactly where we’ll be available as we get closer to launch date. We’re not only rolling out our flagships such as Navesink IPA and Shrewsbury Lager, but some other fan favorites as well, PLUS some ALL-NEW beers we’ve never released before and have been saving just for our beloved NJ home market!!

Expect to see a lot of construction progress pics as well as updates on which beers will be dropping when. It’s finally here folks!! We thank you for staying with us during our journey to market the last few years, and we have a number of great beers coming down the line to justify your patience! As well, we have some truly innovative (if we do say so ourselves) plans for the brewery to make it a unique destination and worthy of a visit. The #rossarmy has been growing by the day and we couldn’t be more grateful and humbled. Stay tuned RIGHT HERE for frequent updates and a deep dive on the property, the beers, the plans, the team, and a few more surprises. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all your support, and we can’t wait to share a beer soon!! In the meantime, here are a few pictures of the site, and we invite you to imagine, as we have, all that it can be! @ Port Monmouth

Even though they’ve been trying hard to open up their brewery, they’ve been actively selling some of their beers to bars, restaurants, and stores mostly located in New York City and Staten Island. The opening of Ross Brewery is expected in early 2021, so the team is eager to expedite the process in order to meet that deadline.
