Jersey Shore Summer Guide 2020: The return of small businesses

Summer’s back at the Jersey Shore, which means things are getting hot! This is the time of the year when many towns along and near the Jersey Shore receive significant traffic from other locals in the garden state, as well as the myriad of out-of-state visitors.

Obviously, these have been challenging times because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has proven to adversely impact small businesses — with many non-essential places forced to shut down for a period of time. Now that the state of New Jersey is moving forward with reopening plans, it’s going to be important now more than ever to support local businesses.

For many places, challenges await them in this new kind of normal we’re all emerging from the pandemic. We’ve spent the last few weeks talking with many small businesses about the reopening, what plans they’ll have in place to adhere to social distancing guidelines, and their hopes for the future. We’re proud to be be featuring these select small businesses, which range from restaurants, to retail shops, and even health services.

They’re very much part of our local communities, so be sure to watch their videos to learn more about them! With that in mind, what are you most excited to check out with the reopening? We’ll have plenty more stories to tell. We promise!

Without any further delay, we present to you our Jersey Shore Summer Guide!
