Namaste! Find your zen through our April yoga series inspired by central character Julián, a Latino yoga teacher in our world-premiere production, The Hombres. We invite you to relax and unwind at a free yoga class led by Open Heart Yoga. Each week will feature a different type of yoga and instructor. The class will be taught in a way where movements can be progressed or regressed to allow for all skill levels to benefit fully from the instruction. We will provide some mats, but encourage attendees to bring their own.
The Hombres follows Julián, a yoga instructor and his relationship with the construction workers outside his studio. Inspired by the play, we have partnered with Open Heart Yoga to bring free yoga to the theater. Join us every Tuesday throughout April for classes featuring different instructors. The class will be taught in a way where movements can be progressed or regressed to allow for all skill levels to benefit fully from the instruction. Although some mats will be provided, we encourage attendees to bring their own.
The sessions on April 7th, 21st, and 28 will be held in Studio A, and the session on April 14th will be held in the theater’s lobby.
Two River Theater’s yoga sessions are free but you’ll need to register below through the link to guarantee yourself a spot. It’ll run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. during the dates listed above at its location on 21 Bridge Avenue in Red Bank, NJ.
Due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, this event has been cancelled. There are no plans for rescheduling it.
