Unity, love, and togetherness felt at ‘Pride in the Park’ in Red Bank [video]

With the gorgeous weather making its way into the area, Red Bank’s ‘Pride in the Park event over at Riverside Gardens Park brought people together from our local and surrounding communities for a day of fun!

Unity, love, and togetherness were all felt throughout the event, which featured various vendors, kids activities, live music, and some distinguished awards being handed out. There were also speeches to those distinguished members who received honorary awards for Pride month, as well as from some of Red Bank’s local council.

This is the first time that Pride in the Park has been held in Red Bank, which was organized by the Red Bank Department of Parks & Recreation and Borough of Red Bank, NJ. We spoke with Red Bank mayor, Pasquale Menna, who elaborated more about the event’s purpose – so check out our video for that, in addition to all the fun sights!

Don’t forget to check out our photos from yesterday’s event as well in our gallery below.
