Art galleries you need to visit this summer in Red Bank: Oyster Point Gallery

Red Bank is full of culture, with a profound passion for the arts. Spread throughout the town are an assortment of art galleries, which showcase a myriad of paintings, works, and other unique creations!

We stopped by the Oyster Point Hotel, which interestingly enough features its own gallery. Speaking to both the art gallery’s founder, Kevin Barry, along with its current curator, Ellen Martin, we’re given some insights to the gallery’s formation – as well as the current exhibition that’s being featured there.

Name of Gallery: Oyster Point Gallery
Location: 146 Bodman Place

Oyster Point Gallery Exhibitions, originally conceived by Vice President Kevin Barry, and currently curated by Ellen Martin, provides a prestigious and viable alternative gallery venue to artists from New Jersey and nearby locations. Both emerging and established artists, including award winners, have been included in the exhibitions that are shown in the public spaces of the first two floors of the Hotel.  The work is primarily two-dimensional and encompasses painting, photography, wall-mounted sculpture, collage, wood assemblage and collaborative work. The Gallery is an asset both to the community and guests of the Hotel.
