Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner, signaling the unofficial start of summer. For those still trying to figure out plans for the occasion, you’re in luck because we scoured and curated a list of fun things, events, and specials that are happening in-and-around the Jersey Shore!
From Memorial Day parades, to a food truck festival, even some family friendly events, there’s plenty to look forward to! Best of all, they’re all throughout the greater Jersey Shoe area. Whether it’s Red Bank, Asbury Park, Freehold, or even Middletown, the list covers most of them.

Awesome 80’s Dance Party at Laurita Winery

Love blue eyeshadow? Leg Warmers? White washed jeans? Come get totally awesome with us and flaunt your fluorescents, get silly with shoulder pads plus be ready to jaunt around in those jelly shoes! (Wrist bangles by the dozen are not mandatory… but c’mon! It’s an 80’s dance, so they’re definitely recommended!!)

Unicorn Girls Can Release at Bradley Brew Project

The time has come. On Memorial Day Saturday at 10am, we will be hosting our first ever can release. Of course, it has to be Unicorn Girls!
The 16oz cans in 4-packs will be $16 (sales tax included). There will be a two 4-pack limit per person.
This two hour block will only be for can and pre-filled Crowler purchases (we will have a few non-UG beers ready for you) – we will open the brewery to the public at Noon.
Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival 2019

Gather your friends and come hungry because it’s time for our annual Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival! The Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival is back – and ready to kick off our festival season!
This year’s Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival will feature over 40 mouth-watering trucks serving everything from fresh-made empanadas, to ocean-fresh lobster rolls, to warm and gooey Belgian Waffle sundaes.
Enjoy live music all three days of the festival. In addition, FREE Family Fun Day activities will take place Saturday and Sunday including clowns, face painters, pony rides and a bounce house.
Bradley Beach Memorial Day Fest

Garden State Comic Fest

Where: Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, NJ
We have once again teamed up with Garden State Comic Fest to bring you a fun-filled mini-con from 12 to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 25 & 26. Comic Fest takes place in the Metropolis section of the park.
Help us kick off our Super Hero Summer with comics, collectibles, artists and some of the best DC Comics cosplay around* all set with the backdrop of DC Comics-themed roller coasters.
John Wesley Shipp who played THE FLASH on the original TV series and currently plays Henry Allen and Jay Garrick on the CW Network’s version will join Comic Fest for meet and greets, autographs and photos** both Saturday and Sunday.
Charlie Schlatter who voices THE FLASH in THE LEGO Movie will join Comic Fest for meet and greets autographs and photos** both Saturday and Sunday.
Long Branch 2019 Art in the Park

LONG BRANCH ART IN THE PARK 2019
The Annual Art in the Park event will be held 10 AM – 5 PM on Sunday, May 26th in West End Park! Come enjoy the work of over 50 juried artists and artisans.

19th Annual Seaport Craft Show

The Highlands Business Partnership will host the 19th Annual Seaport Craft Show, Sunday, May 26th, rain or shine from 10 am – 4 pm. Admission is free. Come experience a delightful collection of various handmade crafts from more than 60 crafters and artisans. Live entertainment by Chris Morrisy, from 11AM – 3PM. Shop till you drop for unique gifts, art, jewelry and personal items at this Juried Show.
Highwaiilands Luau Party

145th Freehold Memorial Day Parade

The largest and longest consecutively running Memorial Day Parade in New Jersey. Organized by the Freehold Memorial Day Parade Committee.
Every Memorial Day morning at 10:00 am, the Freehold Memorial Day Parade steps off from the corner of Brinkerhoff Ave. and Main Street in Freehold. The committee strives, with the help of community donations, to make every parade different, and bigger and better than the year before.

Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

This year’s Memorial Ceremony will include a Parade to honor our nation’s Veterans and fallen heroes. The Parade will feature floats, horses, marching band, bagpipers, community organizations and veterans’ organizations. We invite the community to march with us on Monday, May 27th at 12PM. the Parade will line up on Irving Place and Arthur Place. It will start at noon and proceed towards the Veterans’ Monument on Monmouth Street to conclude with our annual Memorial Day Service at 12:45PM
