Get ready for Garden State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’s biggest event, its world championships, which will be held on March 9th and 10th!
Our Biggest and Best Competition So Far! The World Championships (Of New Jersey)! For the first time we will be doing a 2 day event with divisions for kids on Saturday March 9th, and divisions for adults on Sunday March 10th.
For experienced competitors we will be doing our best to recruit athletes to compete with from other schools as well! To ensure smooth running divisions and a swift schedule this competition will be PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY and Limited to 100 Competitors!
Registration Closes at 12:01AM Sharp on Thursday November 29th !
All Competitors Will Be Guaranteed AT LEAST 2 matches per division! If you or your child loses their match they will be given a match for 2nd or 3rd place (depending on size of bracket) or an exhibition (scored by ref) if they are no longer eligible to place.
As we are limited on space there is a $10 fee for spectators

White – 3min
Gray- 3min
Yellow- 3min
Orange – 4min
Green- 4min
Blue – 5min
Purple+ – 7min
We will be doing IBJJF rules for Gi and NAGA Rules for No-Gi.
Brackets may be combined and we will do our best to make the best match ups we can in terms of age, size, and experience!
Unique Quickshot Division
New For 2019, All Competitors Are Able To Compete in a Brand New Event Called “Quickshot”
In quickshot there is 1 point awarded for takedowns, sweeps, guard passes, submissions, or backtakes. After the pint is scored, both competitors are reset to the feet. The winner is the competitor with the most points at the end of the round. Time is half the amount of your normal division.
