Dogs of all breeds made their way down the runway at the “Strut Your Mutt” dog show with The Brodie Fund

Dogs of all breeds came strutting their stuff during The Brodie Fund’s 2nd annual “Strut Your Mutt” dog show on a beautiful Sunday afternoon over at The Boondocks Fishery.

The event finally occurred after being postponed the first time around a week back due to weather. This time, however, it was nothing but sunshine and plenty of happy faces on the pooches that participated in this “not so typical dog show,” which gave out awards for the best tail wag, most mysterious heritage, and surprisingly enough, the least obedient.

Vendors of all kinds, including food and live music, were all there during the event, which ran from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 16th. We managed to speak with the found and director of The Brodie Fund, Sally Williams, who talked to us about the mission of the organization.

When asked about her favorite part about organizing an event like this, she says, “Because I get to work with dogs. And that’s a really different kind of event with us. A lot of stuff are just people gathering to fundraise, but this is awesome because we get to hang out with the animals and that’s one of my favorites parts about this event.

Don’t forget to check out all the photos from the event, including our video that highlights what went on!
