Zombie lovers rejoice! The Asbury Park Zombie Walk 11 is slated for Saturday, October 6th, featuring all-things zombie related and it’s your opportunity to dress up in your favorite zombie costume/attire for this unique walk through Asbury Park’s downtown and boardwalk. There will also be live music, a costume contest, an after party, and much more!

The Central Jersey Blood Center is joining us again this year to accept donations during the Zombie Walk. The Blood Mobile will be parked right next to the Paramount Theatre so that the undead can give blood before it all coagulates!
4:00pm:
THE ZOMBIE WALK BEGINS
AT CONVENTION HALL
Zombies will gather on the Asbury Park Boardwalk in full costume. They will begin lurching down the Boardwalk, towards the Carousel House. From there, they will turn and head up Cookman Avenue, shambling towards the Downtown and Press Plaza.
6:00pm – 8:00pm:
ZOMBIE WALK FINISH LINE ON MATTISON AND MAIN ST!
Music and festivities continue Downtown at Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits and at local businesses throughout Asbury Park.
9:00pm to ???:
OFFICIAL AFTER PARTIES AT JOHNNY MAC’S!
Formal events conclude, Zombie Walk after-parties continue the fun into the late night!
Win Big in the Costume Contest by being on the Boardwalk in your bloody best by 3PM! Judges walking the Boardwalk will be giving out contestant stickers, if you get one you’re a finalist in the Costume Contest! There are cash prizes from Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits for Best Child, Best Adult, Best Couple and Best Group costumes. Only Zombies are eligible to compete in the costume contest, sorry no survivors!
The prizes for each category are:
1ST PRIZE – $200 2ND PRIZE – $150 3RD PRIZE – $100
Lucky finalists should meet at the stage in front of Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits at the end of the Zombie Walk route for the final round of judging. Winners will be decided and announced immediately after the Walk!
From the looks of it. th actual zombie walk will be taking place 4:00 PM at the Convention Center, with it concluding sometime around 8:00 PM in downtown Asbury Park. Additional details will come as the date nears, so check out the links below for all the information!
