Cheese lovers listen up! Your local cheese connoisseur, The Cheese Cave, will be hosting three different tasting and lecture events in September where you’ll partake on its featured cheeses while learning about them! The events are slated for September 8th, September 13th, and September 22nd.

Cheese 101 – Tasting and Lecture

Join us for a tasty and informative evening on demystifying cheese. We will guide you through a selection of seven cheeses, each representing a different family of cheese, detailing it’s history, origin and other interesting factoids of our favorite food!

Italian Cheese Tasting and Lecture

Italy is home to a wide range of styles and flavors of cheese. Parmigiano-Reggiano, Pecorino Romano, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, Provolone, Ricotta and Taleggio are just a few many recognize. How about learning about a few that you have not yet enjoyed?

In our class on Italian Cheeses, we will provide a tasting tour of all the major cheese-producing regions of Italy, highlighting the regional characteristics and culture of the region.

French Cheese Tasting and Lecture

Join us for a guided tour through the French countryside exploring a variety of tastes and textures — from mild and tender, to creamy and tangy, to hard as a rock and sharp as a razor.
We will discuss the interplay between natural conditions of the soil, climate and vegetation and the effect it has on the traditional artisan cheese that is produced.
