For the third year in a row, Red Bank plays host to the ever-growing Indie Street Film Festival, which spans five days of indie films, panel discussions, happy hour events, awards ceremonies, and much more! In tradition, it all kicked off with an opening night reception event, which was held at Detour Gallery this time around.

We got the chance to speak with Jay Webb, Artistic Director of the Indie Street Festival, who is enthusiastic about once again bringing unique stories through the films being showcased during the festival. Not only was the reception an opportunity to meet many of the sponsors, event organizers, and various community members partaking in the festival.
Food was provided by Kitch Organic, a local eatery that specializes in healthier food, led by Joe Durso and its talented chefs. Meanwhile, Ryan Martinez of Grape Beginnings Hands On Winery was pouring samples of wine throughout the event. And finally, live music was performed by Tiphanie Doucet.
As always, don’t forget to check out our video above, which highlights all of the exciting moments that happened at the reception!
