Our coverage of the Red Bank Classic

The Red Bank Classic drew in a massive crowd for the inaugural event, which saw runners trekking throughout town for this 5K run. It’s been a while since a 5K run was held in Red Bank, so this is breathing new life into the possibility of being a yearly tradition.

The Red Bank Classic was held on Saturday, June 16th, featuring a 5K run throughout the downtown area.

From the runners competing in the race, to the after party at Red Rock Tap + Grill, and all the other events held during the Red Bank Fitness Festival in Marine Park, June 16th was undoubtedly a fun-filled packed day for the town. All of this was possible through the help of the Red Bank community, which includes the Red Bank Business Alliance, Red Bank Parks & Recreation, Red Bank RiverCenter, the Community YMCA of Red Bank, and a myriad of other local vendors/businesses.

Best of all, the weather was perfect for the occasion! After the race, the Red Bank Fitness Festival was open to the public – offering a myriad of activities to do and vendors to check out. And finally, the awards ceremony was held down by Marine Park, ending the first ever Red Bank Classic.
