Fall is here, which means that it’s ripe for a trip to do some apple picking! There are several places you can go throughout Monmouth County for apple picking, but we stopped by Battleview Orchards in Freehold, NJ.
Battleview Orchards is a family owned and operated farm and Country Store. The farm allows the public to pick their own New Jersey Apples, New Jersey Peaches, New Jersey Strawberries, Sour Cherries, Nectarines and Pumpkins.

With a consistent breeze and the sun hiding every now and then in the clouds, the weather was perfect for a late Saturday afternoon picking. If you’re after some good ol’ apple picking, Battleview Orchards has you covered. You pick up a bag and container, then proceed to walk around the orchards at your own leisure – and then pay for what you picked up at checkout.
It couldn’t be any simpler than that! And the best part, too, is the huge variety of apples to choose from through the sprawling orchards. Check out all the photos below from our recent trip!
