Trying something new, we decided to check out Carlos O’Connor’s, a Mexican restaurant right in the heart of Monmouth Street in Red Bank. It’s one of those places that folks from out-of-town might overlook, especially given the vast selection of places to choose from in town, but trust us, you’ll want to check them out.
Before you trek out to Carlos O’Connor’s, you’ll probably want to check out ahead their hours, seeing that they don’t open until 5PM during the week. However, they have extended hours during the weekend to accommodate lunch time. Also worth mentioning, it’s a BYOB establishment, so if you plan on dining and want to have an alcoholic beverage, just make sure to bring one with you.
Besides that, the restaurant features an inviting atmosphere that gives it that local, home-like appeal to it. We ordered several appetizers, just to get a good sample of what the place offers. Feel free to check out our video and pictures!
