With spring’s impending arrival, it’s the perfect opportunity to help get some of our local beaches cleaned up in anticipation of summer. The Bradley Beach Cleanup was originally slated for Saturday, April 18, coordinated by the Surfrider Foundation: Jersey Shore Chapter and Jonesbar. However, due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, it’s been postponed indefinitely.
Updated 4/7: In the best interest of our volunteers, members, and supporters we have decided to postpone our April 18th beach cleanup to a later date. We believe postponing the event for the peace of mind of our volunteers is the best decision at the moment.
Stay hydrated. Wash your hands. And call Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin in his legislative office at (732) 855-7441 and tell him you support bill S-864 which will ban single-use plastic bags and styrofoam takeout containers statewide!
