Turkey day has come and gone, giving people something to look forward to in Red Bank come Friday night. The festivities were plentiful throughout most of the day yesterday, November 29, as many businesses opened shop for Black Friday. Eventually it was time for Holiday Express!
At night, however, Broad Street was shut down for the annual Holiday Express Concert, which kicks off the holidays for Red Bank. New Jersey Hall of Fame inductee and found of Holiday Express, Tim McLoone, brought the singers, Santa, the Grinch, and other performers throughout the concert.
Featuring some classic holiday songs mixed in with some newer, popular songs, the Holiday Express concert definitely brought the joy and fun into town. Even though the temperatures continued to drop, people were still singing along and enjoying all the tunes.
The finale, of course, featured Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna, who along with Tim McLoone, counted down to switch on the town’s holiday lights. The concert may be over, but there are still plenty of fun and exciting events happening in Red Bank for the holidays!
