The first day of the Catsbury Park Cat Convention 2019 has come and gone! If you missed it, don’t worry because day two is still on tap for tomorrow, April 14th, over at the Convention Center in Asbury Park.
The 2nd annual convention for the cats didn’t disappoint, upping the experience by being bigger and better than before. For starters, this year’s convention brought in nearly double the amount of vendors from last year – while still offering some new experiences for attendees.
We interviewed Catsbury Park founder, DJ Bornschein, who talked about all the new things happening with this year’s cat convention. Asked about what he loves most about it, he said, “my favorite thing about doing all of this is the amount of money we’re able to raise for a lot of the non profits and rescues that we work with. And the adoptions we’re able to do!” Adding to that he said, “But ultimately our main goal is rescue and saving cats, so if people can have fun and we can save cats at the same time, then that’s a win-win.”
