When it comes being unique, Bombay River certainly is a distinctive destination in Red Bank, which opened for business earlier this year. We stopped by recently to check out what the modern Indian restaurant had to offer for lunch.

If you’re all about the flavors and taste, Bombay River’s dishes deliver in those areas. Even though Indian food has this reputation for being spicy, there’s actually more emphasis on being flavorful with the dishes we tried out. They include the prix fixe dishes that are offered during lunch below.
- CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA ($12) – creamy tomato gravy, fenugreek, ginger, garlic, cinnamon
- CHICKEN CHEF WALA ($12) – home style indian chicken curry, ginger, garlic, curry powder, cinnamon
When ordering one of its prix fixe lunch options, which is available Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, all entrees are served with white Jasmine rice, fresh bread, house salad, papadam, & yogurt sauce.
Bombay River also offers an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet on the weekends, which is something worth checking out if you’re looking to indulge. They’re located in downtown Red Bank on 90 Broad Street. And as always, don’t forget to check out all the photos below from our recent visit! There’s also our quick interview with Bombay River’s owner, Sam Jain, during the Red Bank Food & Wine Walk during the summer.
