Sea.Hear.Now. Festival

When: September 18-19, 2021
Where: Asbury Park Convention Hall, 1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ
Why we picked Sea.Hear.Now Festival:

The Sea.Hear.Now Festival is exactly what makes events at the Jersey Shore such a spectacular thing to be a part of. Combining music, the arts, fun, entertainment, and everything that makes concerts such a draw, the Sea.Hear.Now Festival will headline some big name bands that are bound to be huge draws. Pearl Jam and the Smashing Pumpkins are two of the headliners, but there are several more on tap to play at the various stages there.

Asbury Park has always been known as a hub for live music and concerts, hosting notable yearly festivals like the Warped Tour and Skate & Surf Festival, but after the inaugural Sea.Hear.Now Festival in 2019, it’s become the premier festival to be a part of. In addition to the music, you can expect various vendors, busy boardwalk fun, and foods at the festival.

26th annual Highlands Clamfest

Why we picked 26th annual Highlands Clamfest:

Just like the Monmouth County Fair, the annual Highlands Clamfest has been a huge draw for the amount of fun for the entire family. Combining craft vendor, fair foods, live music, and a beer garden, the 26th annual Clamfest in Highlands is no doubt an event that should be a fun time for all.

Also, the clamfest is an event if you happen to love clams and all things seafood. Topping out the reasons why it’s one of the best events at the Jersey Shore is because there will be a fireworks show on one of the nights it’s held — so it’s something you don’t want to miss!

Super Jersey Comic Expo

When: November 6, 2021
Where: Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Rd, Holmdel, NJ

Why we picked Super Jersey Comic Expo:

Comic book expos are actually quite rare, especially in the garden state. Sure, New York City lays claim to the annual New York Comic Con, which is traditionally held in the fall, but Jersey doesn’t have anything remotely close to that scale. That’s why the Super Jersey Comic Expo in Holmdel is one to be excited about!

Yes, it’s the event for anyone who is into comic books, memorabilia, toys, science fiction, and collectibles. Since it’s being held at the sprawling metroburb known as Bell Works, this expo won’t be affected by the weather. While you’re there, too, you can relish on some of the fancy bites at any of the local eateries inside of Bell Works — or catch a refreshing drink from its outdoor deck bar called Bar Bella.

Middletown Food Truck and Music Festival

When: August 21, 2021
Where: Middletown Sports Complex, 214 Harmony Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748

Why we picked the Middletown Food Truck and Music Festival:

Anywhere you find food trucks, you know it’s sure to be a good time! That’s exactly what makes the Middletown Food Truck and Music Festival so exciting because in one place, you can find a bevy of foods ranging from classics such as comfort foods, to seasonal things like seafood bites that remind you about the Jersey shore.

Guinness Oyster Festival

When: September 26, 2021
Where: White Street Parking Lot in Red Bank, NJ

Why we picked the Guinness Oyster Festival:

Red Bank events have been few and far between, so when the Guinness Oyster Festival was officially given a date, interest quickly grew because of how grandiose the annual event has been in the past. Featuring live music on two stages, food, drinks, oysters and other activities, the Guinness Oyster Festival is without question the biggest annual event held in Red Bank. It’s a fun time for the entire family!

What more can you ask in a post summertime event? In the past, there have been rides and a petting zoo for the kids, fair food from various vendors and local restaurants, beer and wine, and various craft vendors on hand for those looking to shop. With two stages playing shows at any given time, you can just enjoy the music while you’re at the event.

Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival

When: August 14-15 2021
Where: Monmouth Park Racetrack, 175 Oceanport Avenue in Oceanport, NJ

Why we picked the Jesey Shore Food Truck Festival:

After its cancellation last year due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival is going to be back, bigger than ever for this year’s event. If you love food trucks, this is the premier event to attend because Monmouth Park Racetrack’s sprawling location.

From favorites that service up all the comfort foods you’d expect at the Jersey Shore’s many boardwalks, to seasonal seafood bites, to even some unique dishes that’ll have your mouth watering, the Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival’s sure to bring everything you want for the perfect weekend event.
