Surprisingly enough, there will be a fireworks show around the Navesink River, courtesy of the annual family fireworks on the Navesink event to support Riverview Medial Center. It’s slated to run from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. tonight, July 3, with the actual fireworks show expected to run between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Some people initially thought that these fireworks are intended to be Red Bank’s aforementioned ‘Kaboom‘ fireworks show, but it’s not. Instead, it’s happening farther down the Navesink at the DiPiero Family home in Locust — so the best spot for watching the show is around the Oceanic Bridge down by Rumson.
You’ll still be able to see it from Red Bank’s view by Riverside Gardens Park and Marine Park, but it’ll be faint.

This is one of the few fireworks shows around the area that’s actually happening, since many other towns and municipalities have either cancelled or postponed their festivities.
