If you’re an inspiring playwright, screen writer, or just a writer who has a passion for the arts, then you’ll want to check out Two River Theater’s upcoming free event, Adapting Cyrano for Modern Audiences, on September 12th!
Actor Jason O’Connell will discuss how he and co-adapter Brenda Withers injected a contemporary sensibility and playful irreverence into their streamlined take on Rostand’s classic play, all while staying true to the spirit of the original. Jason will discuss other famous stage and film adaptations of the story, and answer questions from attendees.
This is a free event, but you’ll need to register through the link below to guarantee yourself a seat at the event, which will run from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM over at Two River Theater on 21 Bridge Street in Red Bank, NJ.
