‘An Evening of Song’ brings musical performances from opera to Broadway on June 1st in Lincroft

Get ready for some performances by various musicians from opera to Broadway with ‘An Evening of Song,’ which is going to be held at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County on Saturday, June 1st.

The performances for this event will consist of the following:

  • Rooseveltt Credit (bass/baritone) – Tony award winner for his role as Jim in Porgy and Bess and a proud Eagle Scout.
  • Kirsten Norberg (Soprano) – Soprano soloist in local churches as well as the role of ‘Mother’ in Amahl.
  • Thomas Cannizzaro (Baritone) – Performed on Broadway in Caberet and Montty Python’s Spamalot.
  • Louise Chernosky (Pianist) – Music Director at UUCMC.
  • Elaine Held (Pianist) – Retired Music Director at UUCMC.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15 for adults, with children 12 and under being free. It’ll begin at 7:00 PM over at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County over on 1475 West Front Street in Lincroft, NJ.
