Two River Theater’s production of “A Raisin in the Sun” runs through October 8

Two River Theater’s latest production, Lorraine Hansberry’s “A Raisin in the Sun,” will be running through October 8th.

It’s a landmark drama that centers on some of Hansberry’s own personal experiences  growing up with housing discrimination. Directed by Carl Cofield, it features an ensemble cast – some of which have been in other productions over at Two River Theater.

Based on the play written by Lorraine Hansberry, A Raisin in the Sun tells the story of a black family’s experience to better themselves while living in a housing division after the death of their patriarch. It’s a powerful drama that uncovers the struggles of the family, as they deal with discrimination, social justice, and much more!

Tickets for the production will range from $40 to $70, but discounts are available for groups, seniors, veterans, and military personnel. In addition, there will be $20 tickets given out as well, but seating will be based on availability. Several dates are available right now, but it all concludes on October 8th.
