Guinness Oyster Festival returns to Red Bank on September 24

Red Bank’s annual fall tradition returns on Sunday, September 24th, as the Guinness Oyster Festival will be taking up residence over at the White Street Parking lot – bringing in some food, beer, live music, and yes, oysters as well!

You guessed it! There will be plenty of Guiness on tap.

As the name happens to imply, there will be plenty of those delicious Oysters to gobble up – Guinness Stout on tap for attendees to drink up afterwards. This event marks the opening of the busy oyster season, so this is going to be the place to enjoy some of the finest ones locally.

There will be live music there as well!

Best of all, many of the participating food vendors that’ll be at the Guinness Oyster Festival are mostly local ones that are familiar to residents and nearby towns. The list currently consists of the following below.

  • The Bistro Red Bank
  • Boondock’s Fishery
  • Catch
  • Chowda House
  • Cupcake Magician
  • Dish
  • Jamian’s Food & Drink
  • JR’s Burgers
  • Lil’ Cutie Pops
  • Lusty Lobster
  • Patrizia’s Red Bank
  • Readie’s Café

  • Temple Gourmet Chinese
  • Tony’s Sausage

For those wondering, the Guinness Oyster Festival will run from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on September 24th – with a rain date of October 1st. Admission is $5 per person and kids under 10 are free. Proceeds benefit Red Bank RiverCenter, HabCore, and the Booker Cancer Center at Riverview Medical Center.

We checked it out last year, so if you’re on the fence about going, check out the photos below to see what you’re in for.
