Movies in the Park kicks off July 11 with films being shown each week throughout summer

In traditional fashion, Red Bank will be hosting its movies in the park events throughout the summer starting off on Tuesday, July 11th.

Riverside Gardens Park will be transformed into a makeshift outdoor movie theater for anyone to stop by and watch the movies being shown there on Tuesdays. It’s free, which is the best part, but don’t forget to bring a blanket or chair, and get there early to find a spot.

There will also be a food drive where people can help donate canned goods for the cause. Movies usually begin around dusk and the events are sponsored by Hackensack Meridian Health and Lomurro Law. As it currently stands, the lineup consists of the following below:

  • July 11 – Grease – Special costume contest
  • July 18 – Star Wars: Rogue One – Costume Contest
  • July 25 – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
  • August 1 – Finding Dory
  • August 8 – Sing
  • August 15 – Minions
  • August 22 – Hotel Transylvania
