Clean Ocean Action’s one-year anniversary celebration for its “Rally for the Navesink” will happen on Thursday, June 29th, at the Binghan Hall in Rumson.
Over the course of the last year, Clean Ocean Action’s efforts in shedding light on the pollution in the Navesink River has been drawn mainly from its various rallies. Awareness about the sources of pollution has been insightful, but naturally, there’s still more to do to help reduce pollution in the Navesink.
To celebrate its one-year anniversary, Clean Ocean Action will be recapping the successes and most memorable moments from all its events. In addition, they will also discuss the future of the cause and other efforts to help restore the river. Finally, a screening of the PBS documentary, “Navesink, the Restoration of a River,” will be shown afterwards,
The one-year anniversary will commence at 6:30 PM on June 29th at Bingham Hall in Rumson.
