Red Bank’s inaugural Pokémon Go event has come and gone, drawing quite a few players out into town. As soon as you entered the downtown area, you instantly saw them walking around, trying to catch ’em all.
Besides the players converging over at some buzzing hotspots in town, like Riverside Gardens Park, stores and businesses also kept up with the event by offering Pokémon inspired deals and treats. While it only lasted a couple of hours, the event showed the kind of interest that the game is able to generate from all ages.
